Astoria Filmmakers Club

Since February 2024, I have been a graphic designer for the Queens, New York based nonprofit organization, Astoria Filmmakers Club. Their goal is to create a supportive community of both filmmakers and film lovers alike. After being an intern for four months, I was promoted to Lead Graphic Designer. My responsibilities with AFC are to create social media posts and posters. The intent of these designs range from highlighting various films, directors, actors, etc. to promoting upcoming community events. What I hope to achieve with each design is to convey the theme and/or message of each project successfully.
